The University of Georgia is about to head to Washington D.C. to participate in the Lafayette Debates hosted by George Washington University.  Two UGA debaters - Amy Feinberg and Eilidh Geddes - will be representing the team this weekend at the tournament.

They will be competing against over 30 schools from across the world and debating whether states should protect cultural diversity.  They will accompanied in DC by Director of Debate Edward Panetta.

UGA has posted a story about the girls, the tournament, and their upcoming trip on the UGA website, which can be read here.

We are proud to have them representing UGA at such a prestigeous event.  Go Dawgs!
