The Georgia Debate Union's season began this past weekend at Georgia State University. An extremely competitive tournament with close to 100 teams in the varsity division alone, Georgia State saw many Georgia debate teams start the season on a very strong note.

The renaissance of downtown Athens, Georgia has been featured in the New York Times.   Always a wonderful place, the downtown area has recently experienced a cultural, financial, and social revival.

Congratulations to Shunta Jordan a member of the University of Georgia Alumni Association’s 40 Under 40 class of 2013!  Shunta is a highly successful debate coach and teacher at Pace Academy.
