The Communication Theory Division of the Southern States Communication Association has announced Dr. Jennifer Samp as their Outstanding Scholar award for 2022. This award is given to a scholar who has made an outstanding and lasting contribution to the development of communication theory. Dr. Samp's work on communication goals, dyadic power and serial arguments has made her a deserving recipient of this award. Congratulations to Dr. Samp, and we look forward to her recognition at the 2022 Communication Theory meeting of the SSCA in Greenville, South Carolina.
