Georgia Debate Union competes against Freedom University

Image:
Debate Flier

On December 3, the Georgia Debate Union debated representatives from Freedom University (Georgia) over whether immigration status should be used as a criteria for college admissions decisions.

The event was a huge success - over 100 students and faculty attended the event in the Miller Learning Center and a wonderfully informative debate took place.  Freedom University argued that immigration status should NOT be used, while the Georgia Debate Union defended such criteria.

It was the first of hopefully many collaborative efforts in the future!
