Upon joining the graduate program, Divya was awarded the University of Georgia's Graduate School Doctoral Fellow Award and the Departmental Assistantship Award fully supporting her PhD career in Health Communication. As of Fall 2021, Divya was accepted as a University of Georgia-University of Liverpool Research Fellow conducting research and training with experts across the two universities.
