Blake Cravey is a rhetorical scholar interested in transdisciplinary approaches to criticism. Drawing heavily from queer theory, particularly queer relationality, Blake is concerned with investigating alternative forms of relationality. As such, he studies the relational forms of love, loss, community, and infrastructure building. More specifically, Blake is committed to understanding how rhetorical texts can offer alternative modes that challenge conventional orientations. Through this exploration, Blake seeks to discover and describe how rhetoric wields the capacity to reconfigure our understanding of relational dynamics of love, loss, and community.
