Blake Cravey is a rhetorical scholar whose work explores the way political concepts are cultivated within social movements. His current focus is on the way the rhetoric of love is articulated within movements as a political strategy that might transform our understanding of the concept of politics and love more generally. He is committed to understanding how movements produce, reproduce, and disrupt dominant pedagogies and possibilities of what love is, can be, does, and could possibly do sociopoliticalpy. Through this exploration, Blake seeks to articulate how certain rhetorics of love wield the capacity to reconfigure our understanding of the relational dynamics of love, loss, politics, and community.
