Congratulations to Tim Curran, Mengfei Guan, Hillary Palmer, and Abbey Miner for receiving university-wide awards during the University of Georgia’s Honors week! Tim, Mengfei, and Hillary have received the 2016 Outstanding Teaching Award. Tim and Mengfei are PhD students in interpersonal and health communication, while Hillary is a PhD student in rhetoric. Abbey has received a UGA Presidential Award of Excellence awarded to less than 1 percent of undergraduate students in their final year of study. Selected by their deans for this award, these students have a record of outstanding academic achievement, demonstrate strong extracurricular involvement and service to UGA and exemplify the best of UGA’s student body.
