Dr. Mackensie Minniear's book chapter in Engaging Theories in Interpersonal Communication entitled "Critical Race Theory: Dismantling Racial Oppression Through Interpersonal Communication" written with Megan Cardwell (Villanova University) received an award at NCA. The African American Communication and Culture Division awarded the book chapter with the 2023 Outstanding Book Chapter Award. This award recognizes work that furthers the mission of the division in centering issues facing African Americans and those with Black ancestry. Congratulations, Dr. Minniear!
