Nathan Rothenbaum is a second year student in the PhD Rhetorical Studies program, and an Assistant Coach to the Georgia Debate Union. Nathan completed his BA at Trinity University, where he majored in Anthropology and Human Communication, and his MA at UGA under the direction of Dr. Celeste Condit. His research interests include rhetorics of Justice, Rehabilitation, and Punishment.

Nathan's master's thesis explored the role of ethos in Rachel Dolezal's claimed transracial identity.
